All About Garrett Murphy

Hi, I’m Garrett Murphy, an actor and model based in Cincinnati, Ohio. My journey into the entertainment industry has been an unexpected and exciting one.

After experimenting with four different college majors—nursing, political science, business, and secondary education—I realized none of them sparked true passion. During a summer break, my mom suggested I audition for a local talent agency where her friend’s daughter worked. I’ve always loved acting and singing, but I hadn’t performed for anyone since middle school. Despite my nerves, I put in the hard work, and thankfully, the agency saw potential in me and gave me an opportunity.

Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to developing my craft. I’m currently enrolled in voiceover, improv, and acting technique classes, which have helped me grow as a performer. My efforts are paying off—I’ve landed a major voiceover gig for Old Spice and recently finished filming as one of the lead roles in a feature film.

One of the greatest aspects of this journey has been discovering new things about myself every day, particularly my love for improv comedy. I’m excited to continue growing as an artist and seeing where this path takes me.
